Thirdway to create new London HQ after snapping up Clerkenwell offices

Office interior design agency Thirdway is to refurbish 224 St John Street in Clerkenwell where it is taking the entire 21,000 sq ft  after striking a deal to acquire a share of the building, Property Week can reveal.

Working in partnership with the building’s majority owner Paloma Capital, Thirdway will undertake a major transformation of the building over the next year, reconfiguring the interior for its new London headquarters.

The refurbishment is scheduled for completion in Q2 2026.

Thirdway said that investing in such an ambitious project was a sign of its growth and aspirations. The agency started out in a nearby 500 sq ft space and has grown to around 200 employees.

Mason Booth, co-owner and director of Thirdway, said the decision to invest in a new space was “a fundamental part of our growth strategy” and “will undoubtedly be a platform for our people to do their best work”.
