Automotive parts supplier opens Lincolnshire site

A national supplier of car parts and tools to the automotive trade has chosen Autumn Park in Grantham, Lincolnshire, as the location for its latest branch.

Bennetts, a family-owned business with over seven decades of trading history, is set to become operational at the site early this year.

The Grantham branch will become the company’s 56th site nationwide, following the agreement of a lease on 7,334 sq ft of warehouse and industrial space at Unit 6 of Autumn Park.

The transaction was completed through joint agents Eddisons and CPP, acting on behalf of the park’s owner, private equity real estate investor Paloma Capital.

Bennetts will operate alongside several established occupiers already based at Autumn Park, including Marshall Motor Group, Toolstation and Formula One Autocentres.

Eddisons has also confirmed the recent letting of a separate 9,306 sq ft industrial unit to a business operating within the healthcare sector.

Will Wall of Eddisons said: “The scale of the refurbishment of Autumn Park allowed us and CPP to tap into a wider pool of potential tenants who play an active role in the East Midlands corridor’s growth. Like Bennetts, its tenants are at a point of their business expansion where they are looking to scale up now in terms of their property requirements and are at an access point where well-located good quality, but affordable, premises will meet both their immediate and forthcoming needs.

“Securing Bennetts as the occupier for Unit 6 at such a dynamic stage of its strategic growth across the country is a testament to both agents having solid credentials when it comes to meeting our client’s brief and getting deals done.”
